I am Maurizio Conte.
I draw labyrinths I have never entered, cities I have never lived in, gods I have never prayed to.
paper, wood, ink, fire. No digital, no AI. Every line is hand-drawn. Thousands of lines, one abyss.
My work is called Ancestral Shapes — Lost in ink, Found in the abyss. It's about memory that doesn't belong to us. Faces inside walls, bridges that go nowhere, bodies connected by tubes.
